I commit to raising at least the minimum sponsorship of £1,000 for Berlin Marathon 2024. 1b. For the Berlin Marathon, £700 of my minimum sponsorship amount must be received by Spinal Research by the 29th May 2024, with the remainder received within four weeks of the event date. 1c. If you do not reach the first fundraising target of £700 by the 29/05/24, Spinal Research has the right to revoke your place. If you have any concerns regarding reaching your fundraising target, please do contact the Events Team, they are here to help and support you. 2. You acknowledge that Spinal Research may incur costs as a result of you joining (e.g., cost of charity entry, producing and sending/technical kit/t-shirt) for this challenge. The objective is to raise as much sponsorship as possible 2a. If I do not take part in the event, any sponsorship money raised will be treated as donations unless my sponsors contact Spinal Research directly for a refund. 2b. If I cancel my place after the portal has shut, i am not guaranteed to postpone my place to the following year. 3. I will create a fundraising page,or fundraise offline, under my name only. I understand that I cannot share a fundraising page. 3a. I will pay my registration fee under my name only unless agreed with the event manager 3a.a. I understand that my registration fee is non-refundable and cannot be rolled over to next year’s London marathon or another event. 3a.b. I will contact Spinal Research immediately if I think I will not be able to participate in the event. 3b. I agree to raise all money using legal methods and complying with the advice given. 4. I understand that Gift Aid is not included in my minimum sponsorship, but that money raised from Gift Aid is a valuable bonus for Spinal Research. 5. I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, my general state of health and fitness is good and I take full responsibility for my training. I take part in this event at my own risk. 6. I confirm that I will be the minimum age required to take part in the event. For more information on specific ages for events please email events@spinal-research.org. 7. All funds raised for Spinal Research through the event will be made payable to Spinal Research. 8. I agree to Spinal Research storing the information that I have provided on their database. 9. I give Spinal Research permission to use any photographs/videos taken of me at this event, to raise charity awareness. 10.
