FAQs:

Is there a minimum age for taking part in the Dublin Marathon?

Yes, all participants in the Dublin Marathon must be aged 18 or older on Marathon Day.

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fee for the Dublin Marathon is £49.00 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £1,300.00.

Please note there is a first fundraising target of £650.00. Once you achieve this your place on the Dublin Marathon is confirmed. This must be reached a least 60 days before the event – in this case 28th August 2024.

The remainder of your fundraising target (£1000.00) is due 4 weeks after the event.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run. We will even get you an iron on name so you can personalise it.

These are usually sent out after your first fundraising target.

How will I get my race pack?

They will be available for collection at the Irish Life Dublin Marathon Expo in the Main Hall of the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) on Friday, 25th October, 12-6pm and Saturday, 26th October 9am-7pm. Please note the cut-off time for pack collection will be 6pm on Saturday.

Can I race if I have a disability?

Yes, however there is a slightly different process for participants with disabilities. To find out more information, click here.

I have a ballot place with the Dublin Marathon and would like to fundraise for Spinal Research. Can I do this and will I have a fundraising target?
