The adidas Manchester Marathon is the UK’s second largest marathon and one of Europe’s biggest and most popular running events. Every year, it brings thousands of runners and supporters together on the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester, creating an electric atmosphere from start to finish.
Known for its flat and fast course, the Manchester Marathon welcomes everyone to take on the 26.2 mile challenge. From elite runners chasing personal best times to first-time runners taking on something they once thought impossible. Many experienced runners choose this event for its speed and supportive crowds, while those new to marathon running are encouraged by the inclusive and friendly atmosphere throughout the route.
Crowds of supporters line the course, offering constant encouragement that makes every mile memorable. The incredible Mancunian spirit helps carry runners through the challenge, making this one of the most rewarding marathon experiences in the UK.
