FAQs:

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fee for Great Scottish Run is £20.00 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £150.00

Please note there is a first fundraising target of £75.00 which is due on the 20th August 2024. The remainder of your fundraising target (£75.00) is due 4 weeks after the event.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run. We will even get you an iron on name so you can personalise it.

These are usually sent out after your first fundraising target.

How will I get my race pack?

Race numbers will be posted approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Can I take part if I have a disability?

Absolutely, you can certainly take part with one of our charity places!

If you are a wheelchair user, please ensure you enter this information when prompted on your registration.

If you are to be aided around the course, either by being pushed or assisted, by a guide runner, your guide runner must also be a registered participant in the event. Please submit an enquiry form directly with Yorkshire Marathon with your registration ID to advise them of your specific requirements.

It is strongly recommended that only experienced wheelchair racers attempt the courses unaided.

I have a ballot place and would like to fundraise for Spinal Research. Can I do this and will I have a fundraising target?

Congratulations on securing a place in the ballot – we would love to have you join #TeamSpinal! Please select ‘Own Ballot place’ above.

As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as possible so you can to help us fund essential research.
