January 2020 - 3D printing nerves
Speaking at the International Spinal Research Trust network meeting in 2019, Kobi Koffler, Assistant Professor at the University of California San Diego (CA, USA) described the challenges of regenerating neurons after injury and the potential that 3D printing may hold to regmednet.com following on from his presentation.
This work is the culmination of a study entitled biomimetic 3D-printed scaffolds for spinal cord injury repair that concluded 3D biomimetic scaffolds offer a means of enhancing CNS regeneration through precision medicine.
