Laura Burdick is from Terre Haute, Indiana and resides in Indianapolis. She graduated from the university of Notre Dame in 2010 and went onto earn her masters degree in public health from St. Louis University in 2012. She set her career goals on helping others achieve happy, healthy lives. As a Business manager in the fitness world and a health coach, Laura enjoyed how she spent her time every day in the health and fitness world.

In May 2020, Laura was in a devastating car accident. She was struck by a drunk driver and suffered a spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. Fortunately, over time her brain healed completely and she continues to work daily on healing her body. She is motivated to create change for the disabled community and push forward research on spinal cord injury recovery.
