You are here: Putt for Paralysis

Let's get you started

You can get started on your Putt for Paralysis event and raise vital funds to cure paralysis in no time. Your first step is to decide how you will be part of Putt for Paralysis. This could be in one of the following ways:

Hold a Golf Day – Organising a Golf Day at your club is a great way to raise vital funds, whilst enjoying a great day of golf. We will be here to support your fundraising efforts and help make it a success.

Pick us as your captain's charity - We would love to be chosen as your Charity of the Year and will be on hand to support every swing of your fundraising.

Take on a golfing challenge - Get together with your mates and take on a golfing challenge. You could raise money at one of your regular games, or perhaps you want to go further and take on 27,72 or 100 holes of golf in one day?

Once you have decided how you will get involved you can choose a fundraising target and set up your fundraising page. Then, let us know your plans so we can support you with advice and materials.

How we will support your fundraising

When you have told us your fundraising plans you can expect lots of support from us to help you raise as many pounds as possible, including:

  • 1 to 1 personalised support
  • A downloadable pack of materials to support your activity
  • A T-shirt, banner roll, leaflets and collection tins if needed
  • A Thank You certificate to proudly display at your golf club.
  • Help with promotion for larger events, such as press releases. We also may be able to share your fundraising on social media.

I’ll never give up hoping, because I know that amazing scientists and researchers will never give up looking for ways to cure my paralysis. All it will take is more research.
