Running for Research
Lydia, Anna and Elise
Three A-level students from Felsted School, Essex have taken on the challenge of October’s Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Spinal Research.
With less than one month to go, the all-girl team made up of Lydia, Anna, and Elise (pictured above) are training hard and looking forward to running through some of London’s most beautiful parks.
The team of ”Runner Beans”, organised by Elise is raising money to fund life-changing research into spinal cord injury. This is of particular importance for Elise as she explains:
“Since signing up to the half marathon, I’ve also learned a lot about the work Spinal Research is funding. I was able to watch some of the recent learning seminars in September through their new Learning Lounge, and I know there are a number of promising treatments under development which will help finally beat paralysis.”
You can sponsor Elise, and the team through their Just Giving page below.
Spinal Research would like to thank the Runner Beans, and everyone who is running on behalf of the charity over the next few weeks!
