Wetherby Race Day 2021

In aid of Spinal Research

30th Anniversary Wetherby Race Day

13th October 2021

Join us for the 30th Annual Spinal Research Charity Race Day and help change the future of spinal cord injury.

After a year of cancellations and rescheduling, we are delighted to confirm Wetherby Race Day on 13th October 2021.
Spinal Research is at the forefront of bringing a new non-invasive neuromodulation treatment to the clinic. Here in Yorkshire, we are proud to be funding Dr Ronaldo Ichiyama, from the University of Leeds, a world-leader in neuromodulation. He is undertaking a small human clinical trial focussed on hand and upper limb function. At a time like this, your support counts more than ever.

Online booking is now open through the link below!

We are actively searching for auction and raffle prizes for the event. If you can contribute in any way, please contact us at

And lastly, a big thank you to those who generously donated last year in lieu of the cancelled event - We cannot wait to see you in person in October!

If you have any questions, please contact us by email at or call us on 02076 538 935.

It is a great event and lovely to see so many people supporting such a worthy cause.

This very special event was started by Rachel Wright, a remarkable woman who had a spinal cord injury due to a riding accident when she was just 21 years old. This race day has continued in her memory and has evolved into an annual event that regularly raises thousands of pounds for Spinal Research.
