FAQs

What is the SuperHalfs Series?

Six races. Sixty months. One SuperMedal.

Complete all six races in the SuperHalfs series (Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia) in any order within a 60-month (five-year) period starting from the date of your first race and become a SuperRunner, complete with your very own SuperMedal.

Full details can be found in the SuperHalfs FAQs here.

Can I complete all the races with Spinal Research?

Yes!

We’re partnered with Realbuzz for all six events in the SuperHalfs series, and you can choose to complete any or all of them with us through their portal.

Realbuzz are a third-party organisation who connect runners with charities to support, and are a fantastic way to guarantee a place on high-demand races connected with a good cause. More information can be found on their website here.

Is there a minimum age to enter the SuperHalfs Valencia Half Marathon?

Yes, all participants must be aged 18 or older on race day.

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fee for the SuperHalfs Valencia Half Marathon is £49.00 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £375.00.

Please note this includes a First Fundraising Target of £187.50 which is due 60 days before the event, after which Realbuzz will confirm your place. In the event that you do not reach this target Realbuzz reserve the right to reserve your place.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run. We will even get you an iron on name so you can personalise it.

These are sent out in time for your event, and our team will be in touch to confirm details.

Can I race if I have a disability?

Yes! As per the Valencia Half Marathon Regulations:

“Any athlete with a disability that can be included in any of the four adapted categories (wheelchair, functionally disabled, sensory disabled and intellectually disabled) will enjoy a discount on registration, taking into account the tranches and dates indicated above, provided they meet the Covid-19 prevention requirements described above, and if there are bibs available.”

To compete in any of the four adapted categories (wheelchair, functionally disabled, sensory disabled and intellectually disabled), registration must be formalised with the FESA (Comunitat Valenciana Adapted Sports Federation), whose contact email address is direccion-tecnica@fesa.es, and telephone +34 963465726. The FESA contributes its criteria, knowledge and experience to ensure the correct grouping in the different categories.”

More information can be found here under section 6.2.
