FAQs:

Is there a minimum age for taking part in the Valencia Marathon?

Yes, all participants in the Valencia Marathon must be aged 18 or older on Event Day – you will be asked to confirm your age when you enter the event.

 

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fee for the Valencia Marathon is £49.00 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise a minimum of £675.00

Please note there is a first fundraising target of £506.50 which is due on 25/08/2026. The remainder of your fundraising target is due 4 weeks after the event.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run.

These are usually sent out after your first fundraising target.

How will I get my race pack?

From the Valencia Marathon regulations:

The bib-chip will be handed out only and exclusively at the Expo 42K Feria Valencia. Feria Valencia will take place, located at Av. de les Fires, s/n, 46035 València (LOCATION).  Expo 42K Feria Valencia opening times:

  • Thursday 4rd December: (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • Friday 4th December: (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • Saturday 5th December: (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

No race bibs or goodie bags will be given out on Sunday, the race day.

The runner may authorise a third party to collect the bib, wristband and runner’s bag via the ticket platform in the Runner’s Area , following prior registration with the registered runner’s details after 7 November.

Can I take part in a wheelchair?

Yes! Please enter the relevant information when prompted during registration.

I have my own place on the Valencia Marathon and would like to fundraise for Spinal Research. Can I do this and will I have a fundraising target?

Congratulations on securing your own place on the Valencia Marathon – we would love to have you join #TeamSpinal! Please select ‘I Have My Own Place’ above.

As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as possible so you can to help us fund essential research.
