I am 69 years old and have been paraplegic for almost 20 years, having been an agricultural consultant for much of my career. I lost an eye as a child and, as such, was prevented from entering the UK military forces, but worked in Rhodesia and South Africa for a time in the early 80’s.
Since my injury, I have rebuilt my consultancy business and become a visiting lecturer at Cardiff University, teaching the plant genetics module.
I also have a small farm in The Black Mountains of Wales.
