“My older cousin was paralysed in 2010 and subsequently passed away in 2014 due to complications from his injury. My cousin was a big part of my life as my family are all close knit and this was a terrible loss and I want to keep his legacy alive. I am 27 years of age and a serving police officer in Scotland. I love my job as it entails helping people when in need or simply someone to talk to. I enjoy horse riding, walks with the dog and socialising with my family and friends”
