Equestrian Ambassador
Nicola was an international event rider and part of the Team GB squad. She’s a London 2012 Olympic Silver Medallist, and was European Individual Champion 2021 – 2023. She has also been a member of several Gold Medal winning World and European teams.
Following her career-ending fall at Badminton in 2022, Nicola sustained multiple spinal fractures as well as a condition called “Central Cord Syndrome” that has resulted in the loss of sensation and movement in her extremities. She has now embarked on a successful new career of coaching and mentoring eventers and their horses as well as kindly helping Spinal Research raise awareness.
