Spinal Research Ambassador

Paul Sagar is a lecturer in political philosophy at King’s College London. He was injured in a rock climbing accident in the summer of 2023, and is now tetraplegic. As well as being an ambassador for Spinal Research, he collaborates with the neuroscience team based at KCL, supporting research by offering the perspective of lived spinal cord experience. He has previously written for publications such as The Guardian, Unherd and Dispatch, about spinal injury and beyond.
