The Irish Life Dublin Marathon attracts thousands of participants from all over the world, be it elite athletes or recreational runners. The route is designed to give a real view of Dublin’s vibrant culture, winding its way past iconic landmarks including Phoenix Park, the River Liffey and Trinity College.

FAQs:

Is there a minimum age for taking part in the Dublin Marathon?

Yes, all participants in the Dublin Marathon must be aged 18 or older on Marathon Day.

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fees and fundraising targets will be announced in due course.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run.

These are usually sent out after your first fundraising target.

How will I get my race pack?

They will be available for collection at the Irish Life Dublin Marathon Expo in the days leading up to the event.

Can I race if I have a disability?

Yes, however there is a slightly different process for participants with disabilities. To find out more information, click here.

I have a ballot place with the Dublin Marathon and would like to fundraise for Spinal Research. Can I do this and will I have a fundraising target?

Join #TeamSpinal on the world’s largest and best fun run. The ‘Inflatable 5K’ has got even bigger and bouncier. Their Unique Inflatable Obstacle Course Race (OCR) has less running and even more obstacles in 2024. New obstacles, new pumping Music Zones and new locations. It is going to be epic!

Available to book at 19 locations across the UK with various dates to choose from, all year round.

We’d love you to apply to join #TeamSpinal. We work with RunforCharity to provide places on this event. Please click the link below to sign up. By signing up, you will be asked to pay your £30.00 registration fee. Places are limited so sign up quickly to avoid disappointment.

FAQs:

Is there a minimum age for taking part in the Inflatable 5k?

Yes, all participants taking a charity place on the Inflatable 5k must be aged 18 or older on race day.

Children can enter with non-charity places through their website. 

What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?

The registration fee is £30.00 and we ask all our charity place fundraisers to raise as much as possible.

Will I get a fundraising top to wear on the day?

Absolutely, we love to send our team a technical t-shirt to wear during the run. We will even get you an iron on name so you can personalise it.

Can I withdraw?

Please note that as we work with our partner RunforCharity for these places, we cannot guarantee that withdrawals will be able to postpone their place. Please contact us to get started.

Can I take part if I have a disability?

Unfortunately due to the nature of the course, this event is not suitable for wheelchair runners.
